American Riviera Bank’s Commercial Lending Center and Administrative Office reimagines a mid century modern building in Santa Barbara as a polished and welcoming workplace. The gently curved exterior features cream stucco, deep roof overhangs, and long bands of bronze framed glass. Mature palm trees, agave plantings, and natural boulders reinforce the bank’s Southern California identity while creating an approachable entrance for clients and employees.

Inside, warm materials and carefully considered details give the office a professional character without feeling overly formal. A curved reception desk clad in vertical walnut slats creates a memorable first impression, while glass enclosed conference rooms keep the workplace open and filled with natural light. Sculptural wood slat ceilings, integrated linear lighting, oak conference tables, and cognac leather chairs bring warmth and refinement to meeting spaces. Lounges, collaborative areas, and smaller meeting rooms introduce comfortable seating, curated displays, and touches of color that support both focused work and informal conversation.

As the trusted general contractor, we coordinated the commercial renovation and office buildout from planning through final finishes. Working closely with the design team and skilled trades, we integrated custom millwork, glass partitions, lighting, technology, and branded architectural elements throughout the space.
