Proven Leadership, Forward Vision: Meet Our Owner and President

Leadership transitions are defining moments for any organization. At Young, the appointment of Jeremy Beauchemin as our new owner and president marks not just a title change, but a clear statement about our commitment to construction excellence. In an industry that demands expertise and sound judgment, Jeremy brings the kind of leadership that builds confidence across teams, clients, and partners alike.

Welcoming Jeremy Beauchemin to His Elevated Role at Young Construction

Complex roof system

With nearly three decades of experience, Jeremy has established himself as a veteran in construction. He’s not just a good leader. According to our founder, Bob, “he’s one of the best builders many of us have ever worked with”.

At Young, where projects often involve complex layouts and tight coordination across trades, Jeremy's strengths are obvious. His rare combination of analytical thinking and artistic expression informs not only his design approach but also his communication style. Whether he's hand-sketching finish details, illustrating a complex roof eave connection, or using Bluebeam to streamline workflows, he communicates clearly and with intention.

His talent doesn’t end at the job site. Jeremy is deeply involved in the pre-construction phase, expertly building out conceptual budgets, developing accurate schedules, and applying thoughtful cost engineering. From start to finish, he’s engaged.

A Dynamic Partner and a Natural Extension of Bob Young’s Leadership

Bob and Jeremey

Jeremy has been an inspiration to our team. He brings optimism and ease to every interaction. He creates space for others to contribute while always moving things forward. There’s no ego, just focus and genuine collaboration. That synergy among team members, and especially between him and Bob, has been a cornerstone of our company’s growth. Over the past year and a half at the helm of Young, he has confidently steered us forward.

Driven at Work, Grounded in Life

When he's not leading a project or collaborating with a design team, Jeremy finds his flow in the ocean. Surfing is how he recharges, which requires a mix of focus, timing, and control, much like the work he does in construction! At Young, we believe that significant buildings, whether residential or commercial, start with great people. Jeremy is proof of that every day.
