Bob Young, Founder, Principal

Bob started out on a path toward architecture and design and along the way had the great fortune to meet and be mentored by Robert Halderman of Palos Verdes, California. From Mr. Halderman he learned the craft of fine home building from the ground up, and found his life’s calling in the process.

Striking out on his own in the Santa Ynez Valley in the mid-seventies, Bob made a name for himself quickly and moved his business to Santa Barbara in 1985. His brother, David, joined with him in 1979 and the brothers have built their company into one of the premier General Contracting firms in the Santa Barbara area.

Since 2006, Bob has served on the board of directors for the Santa Barbara Metal Health Association in addition to the organizations Executive committee. Bob also has been an active member of the Santa Barbara Yacht Club since 1989, serving as a Board of Director as well as a member on several of the clubs committees.
